romantics will love “At Last” by The Dø – everyone’s favourite French-Finnish
indie-pop duo! I confound you not to be charmed by this song’s music video.
The Dø have
been performing together since 2005. “At Last” featured on their 2008 album, “A
Mouthful”, which topped French charts. In 2011 they released their second
album, “Both Ways Open Jaws Extended”.
Singer,
Olivia Merilahti’s, sweet up-beat delivery of the song disguises its dark
undertones so that the lyrics of the final verse only hit home after several
listens.
